Today was a great day. We hopped in the car this morning and headed out to see Grandma and Grandpa at their lake house. It was a nice relaxing visit. The boys ran around...and around, we did some fishing and though it was WINDY we were able to take the boat out for a bit. The kids had such a great time, and Randy and I did as well. Grandpa bought the boys LOTS of treats...donuts, ice cream and fruit snacks! The funny part is, I think Grandma got all the credit...love it! Haha!
Randy and I both commented how much easier it is to travel now that Nate is growing up. No more bottles, diapers and toys to haul here and there. It's nice. :)

Easter
Easter was a lot of fun this year. It was a new experience for Nate. He doesn't remember anything about previous Easter holidays, so it was like his first. He learned about the resurrection of Christ...in a 3 year old way of course, and he LOVED hunting for eggs. The egg hunting lasted for many, many, many days after Easter. :)
This Easter was also a new experience for me. This was the first holiday that I actually had some family to to my house for egg hunts and an Easter lunch. I have never been the one in charge of hosting a holiday, and I've NEVER cooked a holiday meal. My lunch ran a little behind schedule, but it turned out really well. I was totally shocked.
